Who We Are
Voolay is an environmentally friendly online shoe retailer that utilizes recycled materials such as plastic bottles and scarred fabrics to help create customizable signature shoes. Founded by Daniel Vulaj in 2003. Daniel had two passions in life that were dear to him. Fighting against climate change and his love of shoes. Thus, Voolay was created. Offering a plethora of different customizable options from color, stitching, and sole padding. We provide customers, the chance to become artists in their own shoe design. While contributing in a positive way towards climate change using 100% recycled material.
After graduating from Arizona State in 2008, Daniel found himself at various sporting events that contributed to charitable causes. One, in particular, was overwhelmingly intriguing, those of environmental causes. There he learned of rainforest destruction from climate change and its effects. Understandably Daniel wanted to help create a product that was environmentally friendly and often used. That’s when he came up with the idea of incorporating his two loves (environment, and sports), Voolay shoes. Since our launch, we have carried on with the same enthusiasm and love we have for creating our product. As an alternative path is a deviation from our true mission:
